The StuffIt Engine SDK allows you to add the power of StuffIt to all your software solutions. Supporting all major compression, archive, and encoding file formats, the StuffIt SDK gives you the power to add compression and decompression tasks directly to your Macintosh application.

Saves and restores item comments - retains "Get Info" comments on Macintosh files and folders. Ensure that every file remains entact.

MacBinary III compliant - supports the latest MacBinary standard.

HFS+ support - saves and restores all new HFS+ file info, including long file names.

Disk image support - includes ability to mount ShrinkWrap and Apple's Disk Copy disk images. Makes sharing or distributing information easier for your users.
