StuffIt Destinations does that with your files. It packs and sends them anywhere you want them to go, and you don't need to worry about all the details along the way.

Create Custom Destination Tiles

Create as many custom tiles in StuffIt Destinations as you want. Just choose a delivery destination, a compression format type with or without encryption, and a notification option, then simply drag and drop a file onto one of your tiles and it's off.

Using StuffIt Destinations®

When you launch the StuffIt Destinations application, the Destinations Dock will appear. This Dock has several Tiles already set up for creating and expanding archives. Tiles on the left are Destination Tiles. These will create archives and send them where you want. The Tile on the right is an Expansion Tile. This will expand files from archives and encoded files.

If you click on a Tile, you will be prompted for files.

Expanding Files with StuffIt Destinations

There are 3 ways to expand files when you have StuffIt Destinations installed. You can double-click the file if it's a file type that is associated with StuffIt Destinations, drag and drop the file onto the application icon, or drag and drop the file onto the Expansion tile in the StuffIt Destinations Dock.

Some archive types like StuffIt X (.sitx) are automatically associated with StuffIt Destinations, but you can manually add other file type associations by visting the preferences. When a file type is associated with Destinations, it just means that you can expand them by simply double-clicking the file in the Finder. Destinations will automatically launch and expand the file, putting the expanded items in the same location as the archive.

You can also expand files by dragging and dropping them on the StuffIt Destinations application icon, or the StuffIt Destinations icon in the OS X Dock. To keep StuffIt Destinations always accessible in the OS X Dock. Just launch StuffIt Destinations, then right-click or control-click on the StuffIt Destinations icon in the OS X Dock. From the pop-up menu, select "Options->Keep in Dock."

Or when StuffIt Destinations is running, just drag files onto the Expansion Tile in the Destinations Dock. You have lots of options.

Creating Archives with StuffIt Destinations

By default, there is one of each type of Destination Tile and one Expansion Tile. Some Tiles such as the MobileMe, FTP, and SendStuffNow will need additional configuration from you. You can create any number of your own Tiles with different Destination, Packaging, and Notification settings.

When you drag files and folders onto tiles that need further configuration, you will be notified. When you drag files onto the SendStuffNow Tile. Your files will be archived and uploaded to our SendStuffNow file hosting service and can then be shared. You will be prompted to give the "Share" a name, enter a brief "Description", and optionally add email addresses from your OS X Address Book to the "Invite".
